Horseback Riding
The Ottawa National Forest offers over a million acres of horseback riding opportunities. With the exception of the Sylvania Wilderness area and some hikers-only trails, the entire forest is open to horseback riding. See some of the most scenic and untouched areas of the forest by horse. Travel well-marked forest roads or follow remote woodland paths. It’s an endless frontier for the equestrian to explore.
